Overview
Thriveni won the composite licence of the Lasarda-Pacheri manganese block through an e-auction conducted on 27th December, 2016, with a final price offer of 44.65%. As of now, the known reserve of iron ore stands at 6.64 million tonnes of +45% Fe. The total mineable reserve of manganese is 6.65 million tonnes of +10% Mn.
Highlights
The mine plan was approved in 2021 and the peak rated capacity for iron ore is 1.545 Mtpa and manganese is 0.11 Mtpa. The EC clearance should be obtained in September 2023. The execution of the mining lease and MDPA is slated to occur in March 2024.
