Overview
Geomysore Services India Pvt Ltd (GMSI) is a private company established in 1994. The flagship project of GMSI is the Jonnagiri Gold Project, which includes a granted Mining Lease (ML) and a NI 43-101 compliant Feasibility Study. GMSI is developing an open pit mine and processing facility at Jonnagiri, which will be the first private sector gold mine with an integrated processing facility in India in the last 70 years.
Highlights
GMSI’s promoters are Thriveni Earth Movers Pvt Ltd, Australia Resources India Limited, Sun Mining and Lions Gold Limited. GMSI was granted an ML for over 597.82 Ha of the area which is valid until 2063. GMSI also obtained Environment Clearance (EC), Consent For Establishment (CFE) and Consent For Operation (CFO). The project, once commissioned, will produce 1000 tonnes of gold ore per day, which will be processed in the ore processing plant and envisages about 300 direct employment and 300 indirect employment opportunities in the rural part pilot scale production of gold concentrates at Jonnagiri, which commenced in December 2021. Currently, the land acquisition phase is in progress. The final processing plant is expected to be completed by the end of next year and production, by December 2023.
