The company was incorporated in 2006 and is engaged in the production of iron oxide pellets. The commercial production of iron oxide pellets commenced in July 2013. The JSW Group and Thriveni, which possess expertise in steel making and mining operations respectively, are the current promoters.

Brahmani River Pellets Limited is one of the largest merchant pellet manufacturers in India with a pellet manufacturing capacity of 4 Mtpa supported by a stellar beneficiation capacity of 4.7 Mtpa.
The manufacturing facilities of the company are strategically located in the state of Odisha. The beneficiation plant is located in the iron ore hub of Odisha, boasting a state-of-the-art slurry pumping station for the supply of iron ore in the form of slurry, through a long distance slurry pipeline to its pellet plant located at the Kalinganagar Industrial Complex, Jajpur.
The company is certified for Integrated Management System (IMS) – ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018.
Maintaining a laser-sharp focus on the quality of product has earned many reputed consumers in both domestic and export markets.
