Job Description
1. Should have knowledge and experience in erection and assembly heavy earthmoving machineries like excavators, dumpers,
dozers , graders etc.,- Higher class equipments.
2. Should possess troubleshooting knowledge in hydraulics and able to read hydraulic schematics.
3. Should have knowledge in structures and able to read drawings.
4. Should be capable to lead a team of more than 75 persons.
5. Should be able to communicate fluently.
6. Should have experience in relevant field 10 years to 18 years.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the end-to-end refurbishment process and Expertise in heavy equipment refurbishment processes. (inspection →
dismantling → repair → assembly → testing → delivery).
2. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and technical standards.
3. Drive continuous improvement in processes, productivity, and turnaround time.
4. Monitor asset movement, refurbishment costs, and overall profitability.
5. Develop and implement refurbishment strategies aligned with business objectives.
6. Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, workshop capacity, and resources.
7. Establish KPIs and performance metrics for operational efficiency.
8. Identify new opportunities for refurbishing additional equipment categories.
9. Prepare and monitor annual refurbishment budgets and implement cost control measures.
10. Approve major expenditures, vendor contracts, and procurement of spares.
11. Ensure financial viability of refurbishment projects (cost vs. replacement).
Requirements:
1. Strong leadership and people management skills.
2. Financial acumen with ability to perform cost–benefit analysis.
3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
4. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
5. Proficiency in SAP systems, MS Office, and Google Sheets.
6. Should have basic understanding of electrical circuits and knowledge.
