In a big push to reduce our carbon footprint, we have initiated the process of retrofitting LNG (Liquefied natural gas) kits in dumpers. The equipment would then have the capability to work on dual fuel.
The dumper fleet consumes 65-75% of total diesel consumed in mines.

Environmental Impact
- With this technology, considering 100 units of 100 tonne dumper trucks, 35,375 tonnes of CO2 per year could be saved, represented by a 54% reduction in fuel consumption for dumpers and Volvo trucks.
