Alternate Fuel

Challenge

To transport commodities from the top of the hill to the bottom, in a cost-effective manner for the client. Although fuel was needed only for the braking system, its high cost posed a significant problem for the client.

Solution

Instead of utilising the regular variety of fuel, calorific diesel, we opted for Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) and added a pre-heating arrangement using the exhaust mechanism. The LDO was pre-heated and used in the same equipment to reduce costs.
