Challenge

To promote modern agricultural practices in village farmlands.

We promote community farming and development in tribal villages of Bansal Block, Keonjhar in collaboration with the Adarsh Odisha Foundation.

Women farmers are taught modern techniques and given seeds and fertilizers free of cost, through village-level co-operatives.

₹90 lakh has been spent to date on this project.

5000 people from 1345 households in 18 villages have benefitted.

300 acres of land and 500 acres of kitchen gardens were used for cultivation.
