Thriveni Earthmovers was founded two decades ago. Today, An ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 accredited organization with more than 7000 people and a Group turnover of INR 2456.667 Crore, we are a one of the leading MDO Globally. We are now the largest Iron ore MDO in India with capability of 40 MTPA, (4+4) operating mines &1 Billion Tons mineral Reserve. Over the years we have nurtured a people-focused culture because we believe that fuels innovation. From our humble beginnings to transforming into the most preferred MDO, we have remained uncompromised on our core beliefs and ethics in business.

    • Beautiful beginnings as a small, family focused construction equipment company. Incorporated the company as private limited company
    1991
    • Successfully established as an outstanding excavation contractor in materials such as Limestone, Blue Metal, Graphite, Lignite, Copper and Bauxite.
    2000
    • Proven as a reliable mining contractor by completing challenging projects of Hindustan Copper Ltd (Copper) and Indian Navy Sea Bird break-water project
    2004
    • Positioned as a preferred MDO in Iron ore mining in Odisha. Established footprint in Mozambique for Quarrying, Exploration and Coal mining activities
    2008
    • Acquired the first coal mine concession in Indonesia
    2009
    • Started Manufactured Sand Business division. Ramped up the mine production capacity from 1 Mtpa to 15.15 Mtpa. India’s largest private Iron ore mine
    2012
    • Bagged the largest coal MDO contract with 15 Mtpa from NTPC Ltd. Bagged the largest Baryte mine contract with 3 Mtpa from APMDC Ltd. Bagged the maiden Irrigation project
    2015
    • Won the first Manganese block concession through government auction. Bagged coal MDO contract in Indonesia. Annual capacity of Iron ore ramped up to 43 Mtpa. Started state-of-the-art simulator training centre for operators. Opened a new line of business – HEMM Leasing.
    2016
    • Entered into strategic Business Alliance with Sojitz Corporation, Japan. Bagged Coking coal mining contract with 4 Mtpa
    2017
    • Opened a world-class rebuild centre for refurbishment with testing facility. Acquired Brahmani River Pellets Limited (BRPL) Company.

MR. B. PRABHAKARAN

Managing Director

Mr. Prabhakaran is a graduate in Computer Science. He is a visionary leader with passion for technology and flawless execution.

He is closely connected with employees and believes in continuous improvement on all aspects of business. His way of integrating community with business is one of the core reasons for a series of successes in complex mining projects. Latest example is the NTPC Pakri Barwadih 15 MTPA coal mine, which was languishing for more than a decade and Thriveni has started producing coal in record time of one year.

MR. B. KARTHIKEYAN

Executive Director

Mr. Karthikeyan, a graduate in civil engineering, heads over all corporate functions. He has 15 years of experience and oversees the

Indonesian business of the company. He is associated with Mining (Iron Ore, Coal, Barite), Manufacturing and Trading (Aggregates, M.Sand), Overseas Operation (Indonesian Coal), Thriveni Brooklyn Coffee Estate.

MR. PAURUSH ROY

Director

Mr. Paurush Roy has acquired his MBA from IIM, Lucknow and Bachelor of Engineering from IIT, Roorke. He has worked with Deutsche

bank’s global markets, India as a VP and has work experience with Citi Group and Investment.

MR. ANSHUMAN PATNAIK

Director

Mr. Anshuman is a graduate in Computer Science having more than a decade-long experience in the fields of mining, construction and

export.

MR. ANURAG PATNAIK

Director

Mr. Anurag Patnaik has acquired his MBA from Cardiff University, specializing in financial management. He has a decade long
