Thriveni Earthmovers is proud to announce that it has won the first prize again, along with its associate Geovale Services, for the Best Stall Award in the FIMI Mining Mazma 2015, second year in a row.
Thriveni and Geovale jointly attended Mining, Exploration Convention & Trade Show (MINING MAZMA 2015) which was organised by Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) during 24-26 September, 2015 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bangalore. The event was sponsored by Ministry of Mines and supported by Geological Society of India and Canadian Association of Mining Equipment and Services for Export (CAMESE) in order to attract investment and technology in the mining value chain involving policy makers, investors, exploration agencies and mining companies in India.
The event was inaugurated by Mr Narendra Singh Tomar, Hon’ble Minister of Mines and Steel and adorned by dignitaries like Mr Anil Swarup, Secretary – Ministry of Coal and Mr Balvinder Kumar Secretary – Ministry of Mines. Subsequent sessions were characterised by speeches and presentations by eminent speakers both from India and abroad.
The CEO and Director (Consulting) of Geovale Services, Mr Biplob Chatterjee presented his well-researched paper titled “MMDR Amendment - Rejuvenating India’s Mineral Exploration and Mining Opportunities and Challenges”. The paper was highly applauded by the panellists and audience. It can be downloaded from the link given here
The general sentiment of the visitors and participants in the exhibition was more upbeat than a year ago. The so far successful proceedings of coal block auction and other regulatory changes have encouraged many entities to prepare themselves for upcoming mineral block auctions. Thriveni and Geovale have jointly showcased the integrated capabilities – right from planning to execution. The geologists, analysts and mining engineers at the Thriveni-Geovale stall effectively displayed and discussed our entire range of pre-mining, mining and post-mining services to the visitors.
